But it is unclear whether the price will fall
As we recently reported, mass production of the RTX 4070 Ti and RTX 4080 graphics cards has already completed, and stocks will run out before the end of the year. At the same time, the RTX 4070 model is reportedly not going anywhere from the market.
The RTX 4070 will be the junior solution in the line, for which a Super version will be released. At least for a while. And at the same time the only one that will not be removed from sale.
That is, the RTX 4070 will be sold in parallel with the RTX 4070 Super. Considering that the new model is credited with a significant increase in CUDA cores (7168 versus 5888), it is quite logical that it makes sense to leave both cards on the market. However, it is not yet clear whether the RTX 4070 will become cheaper, or whether the RTX 4070 Super will simply be more expensive relative to the starting price of the current version of the adapter.
