Vivo introduced the S19 and S19 Pro smartphones in China. A special feature of the models are very capacious batteries: 6000 and 5500 mAh for Vivo S19 and S19 Pro, respectively. At the same time, the devices managed to maintain a small thickness: for the older model it is 7.58 mm, and for the younger one — only 7.19 mm.
The screens of the smartphones are the same: 6.78-inch AMOLED with a resolution of 2800 × 1260 pixels, 120 Hz refresh rate and 4500 nits maximum brightness. Only Vivo S19 has a flat display, and Vivo S19 Pro — curved. Both devices run Android 14 OS with an additional OriginOS 4 interface. Also, the older model has dust and moisture protection according to the IP69 standard.
Vivo S19 is built on Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 SoC, and S19 Pro — on MediaTek Dimensity 9200+, the RAM capacity of both models ranges from 8 to 16 GB, and flash memory — 256 or 512 GB. Vivo S19 has a rear camera with a 50-megapixel main sensor with optical image stabilization (OIS) and an 8-megapixel additional module with an ultra-wide-angle lens. The Vivo S19 Pro has a triple camera: it includes a 50-megapixel Sony IMX921 sensor with OIS, an 8-megapixel module with an ultra-wide-angle lens and a 50-megapixel module with OIS and a telephoto lens with 50x digital zoom. The Vivo S19 starts at 2,499 Yuan ($344) for the base 8GB + 256GB variant, the maximum configuration of 16GB + 512GB costs 3,299 Yuan ($455). For Vivo S19 Pro they ask from 3,299 yuan ($455) to 3,999 yuan ($551). The devices are available in various colors.
