Details in January

Apple has introduced a new feature of its App Store that will allow users to get more discounts and developers — attract more clients.

The function is called Contingent Pricing. Its essence is very simple. Thanks to this function, developers of certain services or applications can set up automatic «issuance» discounts for users who are active users of other subscriptions. Moreover, these can be both other products of the same developer, and products of competitors.

For example, company X has several different applications in the App Store. Some clients are users of only one of the company's applications. The system, seeing this, will automatically offer them discounts on other products from the same company. In another case, it will work the same way, but with similar products from different companies.
