Perhaps it will be changed to Apple Account
It looks like Apple is preparing to rename one of its very famous brands. The Apple ID will reportedly be renamed Apple Account.
For now, Apple is only «experimenting» over a rebrand, but the new name could be unveiled later this year. It is quite possible with the announcement of iOS 18 or its release onto the market.
Despite the fact that Apple ID is actually just a designation for an Apple account, this phrase has long become a separate trademark of the company. Apple ID has been around for over 10 years and is used for various Apple software products.
