Hybrid modification Ypsilon

presented

The Italian automaker Lancia has opened orders for a new hybrid modification of the new Ypsilon car. The model, which was previously presented only as an electric car, is now available with a more affordable powertrain. Lancia has sold the Ypsilon in Europe since 2011, so it is long outdated. The new generation model has been completely redesigned and is very different from its predecessor.

The Ypsilon Hybrid is powered by a 1.2-liter supercharged three-cylinder engine that is paired with a 48-volt starter-generator and a six-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. The power plant develops a power of 100 hp. and allows the car to accelerate to 100 km/h in 9.3 seconds.

The key feature of the hybrid Ypsilon is its efficiency. Thanks to the ability to drive on electric power at low speeds, average fuel consumption is only 4.6 liters per 100 kilometers. Prices for a hybrid in Italy start at 28,000 euros, which is significantly less than the 39,500 euros that the all-electric version costs.
