Hyundai Creta added more than half a million rubles
The Autonews resource decided to find out how much the popular crossovers in Russia have risen in price during two years of sanctions. It turned out that all the models in the sample increased, but they increased in different ways.
The most affordable Hyundai Creta in May 2022 cost 1.86 million rubles — This is according to the official price list. In reality, dealers sold the car for 1.9-2.1 million rubles.
Creta is now sold in Russia under the name Solaris HC. Recommended retail price for a car with a 1.6-liter engine producing 123 hp. — 2.5 million rubles, but in reality the dealer sells the car for 2.7 million rubles. In other words, the increase — about 600-700 thousand rubles for two years.
Geely Coolray also went up in price, but less: in May 2022 it could be bought for 1.95 million rubles. Now for the basic Belgee X50 (this is still the same Coolray, only produced in Belarus) they are asking 2.291 million rubles. Increase in two years — about 350 thousand rubles.
The Russian hit, Haval Jolion, in May 2022 cost 1.18 million rubles according to the price list and 2.3 million rubles in reality at the dealer, the situation now: 2 million rubles at the price list and 2.5 million rubles at the dealer. That is, the car has risen in price, but not much at all (compared to others) — approximately 200 thousand rubles.
Based on the results of the first five months of sales in 2022, the Toyota RAV4 became the most popular Japanese crossover in Russia: at that time, the cost of the car on the official website was 2.261 million rubles. True, prices from dealers were much higher — about 4 million rubles. Now dealers are asking for a car from 5 million rubles.
The Mazda CX-5 went up in price by the same million rubles: in May 2022, the minimum recommended price was 2 million rubles, while the real price was 3.1 million rubles. Now for a car with a 2.0-liter engine and «automatic» asking for 4.1 million rubles.
