In the autonomy rating, the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra is only 51st position
DxOMark specialists tested the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra for autonomy — and there was a small sensation. With the parameters exactly the same as its predecessor (battery capacity is 5000 mAh), the Galaxy S24 Ultra passed the tests worse.
There is, by and large, one stumbling block, but what one: when using social networks, the Galaxy S24 Ultra eats up battery power very quickly. In the corresponding test, it lasted 7 hours and 45 minutes versus 15 hours for the Galaxy S23 Ultra and almost 16 hours for the iPhone 15 Pro Max.
GPS in the Galaxy S24 Ultra also quickly drains battery power, although the difference here with the Galaxy S23 Ultra and iPhone 15 Pro Max is not so big. When using the camera, the Galaxy S23 Ultra and Galaxy S24 Ultra show almost identical results.
As a result, the autonomy of the Galaxy S24 Ultra was rated at only 130 points. For comparison, the Galaxy S23 Ultra and iPhone 15 Pro Max have 134 points each, the Huawei P60 Pro has 138 points, and at the top of the ranking with a score of 157 points is the latest Honor Magic6 Pro.
The Galaxy S24 Ultra takes 1 hour and 27 minutes to fully charge via wire, while charging up to 80% in just 38 minutes. Wirelessly, the Galaxy S24 Ultra charges to 80% in 1 hour and 37 minutes, entirely — in 2 hours and 9 minutes.
