With 80 Oryon cores

The Android Authority resource, which today added fuel to the fire of the scandal with the new Snapdragon X SoCs, also said that Qualcomm is creating a server processor on the same Oryon cores.

The

CPU, codenamed SD1, will have 80 of these cores with a frequency of up to 3.8 GHz. Let us remember that Snapdragon X Elite has 12 cores. The processor will also receive a 16-channel RAM controller with support for DDR5-5600, 70 PCIe 5.0 lanes, support for CXL v1.1 and the ability to combine in two-socket systems. The CPU will be LGA 9470.

It is unclear when such a CPU will be released, but quite possibly this year. Let us remember that a number of years ago Qualcomm already stormed the server segment with Centriq Arm processors, but quickly left the game.
