And an external video card, and an external SSD, and a port hub. BoostR eGPU adapter introduced

So far cheaper than other similar ones

BoostR has introduced an external video card called eGPU (the final name may be different).

This is a compact solution, which, like all other similar products on the market that have been released recently, is based on the Radeon RX 7600M XT mobile video card, and connects to a PC via Oculink.

The device operates in 100 W mode and has the ability to increase the limit to 120 W, which is the maximum for the specified AMD adapter.

The adapter body also has USB4 connectors, two DisplayPort 2.0, two HDMI 2.1, USB 3.2 Gen 2, an SD card slot and RJ45. There is also space for installing an SSD, which is also typical for similar products lately.

The device also stands out for its relatively low price of $500, but this is a limited-time offer. Then the card will become more expensive.

In Russia, the Japanese Jatco automatic transmission has begun to be installed on Lada Vesta. In the near future there are plans to equip Moskvich vehicles with this gearbox.

There is already a review that shows what such a video card is capable of in games. For example, in Forza Horizon 5 at 1440p and ultra settings, the card produces about 110-120 fps. In the more demanding Horizon Forbidden West in 1080p with medium settings you can get 70-80 fps.
