«Auto news of the day» conducted monitoring of Russian marketplaces and found out that the cost of Toyota Corolla – one of the most reliable cars in the world – dropped to 2.09 million rubles. Thus, Corolla is now even cheaper than Lada Vesta, because the top version of the domestic sedan with a 118-horsepower engine costs 2.2 million rubles.
True, the most affordable Corolla (the kind offered in Stavropol) was released in 2022. But the 2023 variants are not much more expensive – from 2.155 million rubles.
Corolla in Russia is offered with either a 1.2-liter turbo engine with 116 hp or a 1.5-liter naturally aspirated engine with 121 hp. Both are combined with a CVT.
The most affordable sedan is equipped with a leather interior, a multifunction steering wheel, a media system with a large screen, air conditioning, electrically adjustable mirrors and a push-button engine start system.
