SilverStone has introduced the Extreme 1200R Platinum power supply, which offers 1200 W of power in the SFX-L form factor.
The dimensions of the new item are 125 × 63.5 × 130 mm with a weight of 2.1 kg. The power supply is Cybenetics Platinum certified and is capable of delivering current up to 100 A over a 12-volt line.
It is also worth highlighting the 12V-2×6 cable — an improved version of the infamous 12VHPWR. In theory, this should make connecting modern video cards as secure as possible.
The rest includes compliance with the SFX12V 4.1 standard and PCIe CEM 5 certification, a 120mm fluid dynamic bearing fan, a fully modular design and an MTBF value of 100,000 hours.
