Periscope modules will provide different zooms
As you know, the Oppo Find X7 and Find X7 Ultra smartphones will be presented on January 8th. Now high-quality renderings of both models have appeared on the Internet.
At first glance, it may seem that the models differ only in color, but no. If you look closely, you can see that the X7 Ultra has a periscope module in the center complemented by a periscope module on top. Find X7 Ultra will be the world's first smartphone with two periscope cameras.
The regular Find X7 has a regular camera above the central periscope module. However, both smartphones otherwise look identical to each other. They have the same curved screens, the same shape and dimensions of the camera module.
According to available data, both new products will use an inch Sony LYT-900 sensor as the basis for the main camera.
As for the periscope modules of the older model, the smartphone will receive a 50-megapixel Sony IMX890 sensor of 1/1.56-inch optical format with 3x optical zoom and a 50-megapixel Sony IMX858 sensor of 1/2.51 format inches with 6x zoom.
