In retail it will be twice as expensive
A fundraiser has started on the Indiegogo platform for the world's first smart flushable cat litter box. It's basically a cat toilet. In the form of a house.
The device is called Petgugu. As you can see in the photo, this is an enclosed cat house. There is a tray installed inside it, into which filler comes from an automatic dispenser. After the pet has done its job, Petgugu will wash the litter down the drain — here it works like a regular toilet, only miniature.
The flush works automatically, of course. Various sensors are responsible for this function, which understand, firstly, when the animal left the house, and secondly, whether it did its cat business.
In addition, the device has a built-in air purifier, ultraviolet disinfectant and even scales for weighing your pet. The smartphone app shows how much the cat weighs, how long he spent in the toilet and how often he went there. The filler container has a volume of 15 liters, so it should last for a long time. As for animals, «supported» individuals weighing up to 10 kg.
Petgugu is asking for $1,000 in the campaign, but it will retail for $2,000. The authors of the project are asking for a very modest amount, but so far only three buyers have been found.
