The Kaiyi car brand, which is backed by the Chinese company Chery, announced a significant increase in the warranty period for the Russian market.
As the press service reported, in December 2023, Kaiyi in Russia changed the warranty for all brand models: now the warranty period has been increased to 5 years or 150,000 km (whichever comes first) . The new warranty covers major vehicle components if the cause is a manufacturing defect.

The extended warranty period is valid for the Kaiyi E5 sedan, crossovers Kaiyi X3 and Kaiyi X3 Pro of Russian production, purchased by customers starting from December 1, 2023, subject to compliance with all the requirements specified in the technical documentation attached to the cars, and operation of vehicles under normal conditions.
The production of all these Kaiyi models for the Russian market is carried out at the Avtotor plant. in the Kaliningrad region.
