Team FaZe Clan took second place
At the IEM Katowice 2024 Counter-Strike 2 tournament, the Russian Team Spirit defeated the European team FaZe Clan in the final.
Team Spirit defeated FaZe Clan with a score of 3-0. Winning rounds were recorded on the maps Nuke (13:9), Mirage (13:11) and Overpass (13:3).
Four Russian players played in Team Spirit: Leonid «chopper» Vishnyakov, Dmitry «sh1ro» Sokolov, Boris «magixx» Vorobyov and Danil «donk» Kryshkovets, as well as Ukrainian Miroslav «zont1x» Crying.
The tournament ran from January 31st to February 11th in Katowice, Poland, with a total prize pool of $1 million.
For their victory, Team Spirit received 400 thousand dollars and slots for the IEM Cologne 2024 and BLAST Premier: World Final 2024 tournaments.
