Koenigsegg will produce just 125 examples of the Jesko, with one model completely clad in high-gloss carbon fiber with 24-karat gold accents leaving the factory the other day.
In the case of this Jesko, every detail of the exterior is made of carbon fiber with a clear coating that appears to have flecks of gold inside. Various exterior accents were then plated in real 24-karat gold: the front tail, mirror brackets, front fascia center piece, side skirt aero vents, and rear fender end plates. Other gold elements include Koenigsegg badges and lines running along the roof.
This mid-engined version of the Hypercar (Attack) is focused on excellent performance on the track and therefore features a set of aggressive aerodynamic components designed to improve downforce. These include the aforementioned rear wing, a more dramatic front splitter and a distinctive diffuser. Koenigsegg also sells the Jesko in Absolut version, which is designed as a high-speed version without the rear wing and is theoretically capable of speeds in excess of 480 km/h.
All versions of the Jesko are powered by the same 5.0-liter twin-turbocharged V8 engine, capable of producing 1,280 hp. on gasoline or 1600 hp on E85 fuel. Mated to the engine is a 9-speed Koenigsegg transmission driving the rear wheels.
