Dealers don’t want to buy XCITE X-Cross 7, but Lada Largus are bought straight from the assembly line

Sergey Tsyganov, auto expert and presenter of the Telegtram channel «Russian car» spoke about how sales of the XCITE X-Cross 7 crossovers (aka Chery Tiggo 7 Pro), the production of which was established at the former Nissan plant in St. Petersburg, are currently taking place. It turns out that demand is low, and dealers are not eager to buy cars right away.

«We can already sum up some of the results of the first days of XCITE X-Cross7 sales. The results are so-so. Dealers were mainly sent 10 cars &”per box&” at the manufacturer's expense. That is, the cars belong to the distributor until the EPTS is redeemed, until they are registered to a real client. And things didn't work out very well with clients: people look, but almost never approach managers», — writes Sergey Tsyganov.

At the same time, he notes that with the Lada Largus everything is different — dealers buy cars straight from the conveyor. «Dealers are confident in —Larguses, this is a deliberately liquid product. And the dealers I interviewed are not going to buy —Exits with their own money. One even made a prediction: —they will toy around with them and sell them to resellers below the RRP——, — Sergey Tsyganov said.
