Kirill Kalinin, owner of Lada Vesta NG from St. Petersburg, spoke about his experience of owning AvtoVAZ’s flagship. Alas, this experience is far from cloudless.
The car was purchased on September 23, 2023. Already when leaving the salon, it became clear that the wheels were “beating.” Balancing did not help, I had to buy new tires and wheels.
At 1.5 thousand km, creaks and knocks appeared in the suspension. Then the emergency lights started to turn on spontaneously, which led to the battery being discharged. The dealer did not solve the problem (by the way, he did not solve the problem with the suspension either), so the owner bought a compact starter-charger.
The list of other disadvantages looks like this: the phone charging connector did not work, the rear right door did not open from the inside, the headlights fogged up heavily at the car wash, the car itself stalled after some time. The picture is completed by complaints about high gas consumption and weak door seals.
As a result, the Lada Vesta, which had not been driven for even six months, was traded in to offset the cost of another car (it was purchased with an additional payment of 470 thousand rubles). Which one exactly, ex-owner of «Vesta» didn’t tell, but noted that «the sensations are completely different».
It remains to add that recently more and more Vesta NGs with scanty mileage have begun to appear in the showrooms of various dealers. And this example makes it clear why this happens.
