The Wulign Starlight sedan (Xingguang in Chinese) will be available in hybrid (PHEV) and all-electric (BEV) versions. The first deliveries will cover customers requiring a PHEV, with a BEV to follow in early 2024.
The 4.8-meter-long car is equipped with a 1.5-liter gasoline engine producing 106 hp. and a 177-horsepower electric motor. The internal combustion engine operates as a generator, but does not drive the wheels. The installed battery can have a capacity of 9.5 or 20.5 kWh.
High efficiency is declared: Wuling Starlight is characterized by a consumption of 4 liters per 100 kilometers, and it can even be filled with 92-octane gasoline. A full tank and a fully charged battery provide a range of up to 1,100 kilometers.
The car's equipment meets business class standards – there is a leather interior, LED optics, a digital dashboard with a modern multimedia system with a 15.6-inch touch screen, keyless entry, electrically adjustable front seats, a multifunction steering wheel and other modern features.
