According to the press service of Roscosmos, the Rocket and Space Corporation «Energia» completed the production of the «Orion» upper stage in technological and flight performance. Now it will be possible to conduct comprehensive tests of the upper stage itself, as well as flight tests of the Amur space rocket complex. Today, December 22, the Orion upper stage went to the Vostochny Cosmodrome.

Recall that the promising domestic reusable launch vehicle «Amur» (aka «Soyuz-7») will run on methane-oxygen steam. It is expected that it will replace the Soyuz-2 family of rockets. This mid-range rocket will have a reusable first stage. The first launch of «Amur» planned for 2028-2030.
