The team of the largest Russian online trading platform Wildberries announced the launch of a useful update. As noted in the press service, the company became the first marketplace to launch a paint tinting function — choosing a color from the catalog. The palette reaches almost 2000 shades of paint from famous manufacturers.
Wildberries said:
The function will be convenient for buyers who have already decided on the color and brand of paint and do not want to waste time traveling to stores. The paint presented at Wildberries is in stock — This will allow you to accurately plan the repair stages. It will be possible to tint the paint from well-known manufacturers, including Tikkurila, Dulux, VGT, Marshall and others.
The tinting function works in test mode and is currently only available on the Wildberries website. The marketplace plans to increase the number of sellers with tinting capabilities, as well as expand the number of available colors in the catalog. Later the function will also be available in the application for Android and iOS.
The code for tinted paint upon purchase is saved in the history in the «Orders» for the convenience of customers when re-ordering. The option is available only upon prepayment, and the paint can be returned only if there is a defect — tinted paint is a unique product that the seller creates individually upon request.
