The manufacturer positions it as a console
There is one more portable gaming console on the market. The OneXPlayer X1 model has been fully announced, and the device turned out to be quite unusual.
Firstly, the new product is based on Intel Core Ultra processors, although MSI was the first in this matter with its Claw. Secondly, we actually have a tablet in front of us, to which we can connect two halves of a gamepad.
Because of this, on the one hand, the user gets a gigantic screen by console standards, and on the other, the device is much larger and less portable.
The display here has a diagonal of 10.95 inches and a resolution of 2560 × 1600 pixels, which creates extra load on the GPU. The heart is either Core Ultra 5 125H or Core Ultra 7 155H. RAM can be from 16 to 64 GB, and SSD capacity varies from 1 to 4 TB. Because of this, the older version of the console turns out to be very expensive: $1,490. But the youngest one is not cheap at all and costs $925.
As for the rest, it is worth highlighting the OCulink port, thanks to which you can connect an external video card to the console. Another important aspect — accessories. If a $56 keyboard doesn’t raise any questions — with it, the console turns into a laptop, but separately sold gamepads turn the device into a regular tablet. True, with a number of unique features, but still a tablet.
