Huawei fully presented Band 9 in China, at the same time naming the price.
We knew all the parameters, since the device was recently announced in Malaysia. Price for the Chinese market — $37. The device will probably enter the global market, but with a higher price.
As for parameters, Band 9 differs little from Band 8. The bracelet is only 14 grams and has a case thickness of 8.9 mm. The device is equipped with a 1.47-inch AMOLED screen and is protected from water (5 ATM). Huawei offers five color options for the Band 9 (Electric Blue, Light Pink, Lemon Yellow, Sand White and Stellar Black). Huawei says the Band 9 has an improved soft fluoroelastomer strap that's more skin-friendly, and the blue version offers a woven nylon strap.
The device uses Bluetooth 5.3 for connectivity and is compatible with both Android phones (Android 9.0 and above) and iPhones (iOS 11 and above). The maximum battery life is 14 days with normal use and 9 days with active use. A 45-minute charge fully replenishes the battery.
The new product will be available for sale starting today.
