The price is almost twice as high as in Europe

The new generation G60 BMW 5-Series sedans, introduced this spring, went on sale in Russia. These cars are imported via parallel import.

In Moscow they offer a diesel BMW 520d xDrive with all-wheel drive with a power of 197 hp, for which the price has been set at 10.8 million rubles. The second car is offered for 10.5 million rubles; it is equipped with a 208-horsepower gasoline engine and rear-wheel drive. Amount includes recycling fee.

It is worth noting that in Germany prices are much lower: at the current ruble to euro exchange rate, a basic BMW 520i there today costs just over 5.5 million rubles, and a 520d xDrive can be bought for the equivalent of 6 million rubles.

In addition, dealers are selling 5-Series sedans of the outgoing generation G30, including those produced in 2022, without mileage, which are valued at from 7.9 million to 11 million rubles.
