The official opening of Russia's largest plastic processing plant, EcoLine-Vtorplast, took place in the Moscow region. and a plant for the production of finished products from recycled granules «EkoPlast» group «EcoLine». This was reported on the official portal of the Russian government.
Today, this is the flagship project within the federal project «Circular Economy». Investments amounted to 11.7 billion rubles, and federal funding amounted to 2.9 billion rubles. The plant is equipped with unique treatment facilities that provide several stages of purification and make the project environmentally friendly.
The plant was built in a record 23 months, and the share of Russian technologies and equipment was more than 41%. The rest of the equipment was purchased in friendly Russia countries.
The plant will process 21 types of plastic waste and produce recycled pellets, which are then made into finished products such as waste containers and pallets containing from 30% to 100% recycled pellets.
