Sales will start in March
At the moment, the flagship crossover of BAIC in Russia is the BAIC X7, but in March it will give up its title to the BAIC X75 — Today the official announcement of this car took place.
In its dimensions (4745 x 1892 x 1715 mm) BAIC X75 will not differ much from BAIC X7, and in wheelbase — 2800 mm — these machines are completely equal. But the X75 will have better equipment. For example, all car seats will be heated, ventilated and massaged. The car will also be equipped with a digital instrument panel with a 7-inch screen, a media system with a 12.3-inch diagonal screen, and various driver assistance systems.
But in terms of technology, the BAIC X75 will not offer anything outstanding: a 1.5-liter engine with 177 hp. in this car it is combined with a 7-speed «robot». It is already known that BAIC is testing a version of the X7 crossover with all-wheel drive for Russia, but will BAIC X75 with all-wheel drive also be offered? unknown. The price has not yet been announced, but the new flagship should be more expensive than the BAIC X7, for which they are currently asking from 3 million rubles.
