Technology is technology, but tires must be used according to the season
The first Xiaomi car has not yet gone on sale, but has already been involved in its first accident. A photo of a broken Xiaomi SU7 was published by Chinese media: the wing was damaged, the bumper and headlight were broken, but the car itself, apparently, was running.
All the circumstances of the accident are unknown, but here is what local bloggers write. The car was involved in an accident during testing. The driver was unable to stop in time and crashed into the car in front. And he couldn’t stop because the car didn’t have winter tires, although there was snow under the wheels. A few days ago, Xiaomi published a video in which the SU7 was dashing along a snowy road – Probably, that car had winter tires installed after all.
This accident serves as further proof that no matter what modern technologies are in the car (all-wheel drive, traction control system, etc.), you need to have tires that suit the season.
