At the time of release it will offer Android 15 out of the box
The flagship smartphone Google Pixel 9 Pro XL first appeared on the popular testing platform Geekbench.
Google Pixel 9 Pro XL will be the world's first smartphone with a single-chip Google Tensor G4 system, it will be equipped with 16 GB of RAM. The test smartphone runs Android 14, but the production version will come out of the box with Android 15 pre-installed.
Tensor G4 is reported to be an 8-core chip consisting of one large core clocked at 3.10 GHz, three large cores clocked at 2.60 GHz, and four small cores clocked at 1.95 GHz , as well as the built-in Mali G715 graphics processor.
Google Tensor G4 is manufactured by Samsung. Next year, Tensor G5 will be fully developed by Google, and OEM production will be handled by TSMC.
Pixel 9, Pixel 9 Pro and Pixel 9 Pro XL are expected to be released in October.
