Sales of the new Zeekr 001 in Russia will start “any day now”
Sales of the new Zeekr 001 will start in Russia in the near future. The debut of the new product in China took place in February 2024, and now the cars have arrived at the warehouse of the Moscow dealer Rucars. A company representative said that sales of the new product will begin “any day now.” Interestingly, the new Zeekr 001 has become cheaper.
Price of the car in the basic version — 5.5 million rubles, while last year’s pre-restyling Zeekr 001 is sold for 6-7 million rubles. Considering that the Zeekr 001 has been the most popular new electric car in Russia for many months, a reduction in cost while improving performance — good news for many potential buyers.
Zeekr 001 2024 has not changed externally, but 1118 improvements were made to the design of the car, so the brand itself positions the car as completely new. The 2024 version received a front end design similar to that of the heavy-duty top-end Zeekr 001 FR. The power of the single-engine rear-wheel drive version has increased from 272 to 421 hp, the power of the all-wheel drive version of the new Zeekr 001 is 788 hp. versus 544 hp the car is produced in 2023.
