In January 2024, only one Haima car was sold in Russia
Carsfan published an unusual rating: it presents the brands that sold the fewest cars in Russia in January 2024.
The anti-rating was led by Venucia (a joint brand of Nissan and Dongfeng) and Haima – sold one car each. Previously, Haima loudly announced its return to Russia; hundreds of cars intended for Russia were shown in photos on the Internet. But so far, as we see, sales are near zero.
In 2024, only three Skywell cars (second place in the anti-rating) and seven Soueast crossovers were sold in Russia. And if there are no special questions regarding the Soueast (which, by the way, uses Chery units), which dealers import at their own peril and risk, then Skywell is officially present in Russia. It is unlikely that with such sales volumes it is possible to maintain a dealer network.
The remaining positions in the top 10 look like this:
- MG – 8 cars;
- ORA – 9 cars;
- Forthing – 11 cars;
- WEY – 15 cars;
- Aeolus, DFSK, Dongfeng – 31 cars;
- SWM – 35 cars.
ORA and WEY – These are Great Wall brands, they are officially present on the market. It’s interesting that the WEY brand (the cars are sold through the Tank dealer network) managed to sell 15 Coffee 01/Wey 05 crossovers even before the official start of sales of the car.
