The Piranha Games team is already working on a new part of its flagship project, but at the same time does not forget about MechWarrior 5: Mercenaries. A major expansion is coming soon.
March 14 MechWarrior 5: Mercenaries will be added to the DLC called Solaris Showdown. It focuses on arena combat in the Solaris series tournaments with standard battles on vast maps, as well as duels in the ring for mechs.
The main attraction of the DLC will be the Loader King mech, introduced in 5 various options. A new type of mission is also being introduced into the game – arena skirmishes in different weight categories. In addition, well-known cars will appear in new versions:

- HBK-VEST
- CRD-SA2

A number of free pleasant gameplay features are promised: the ability to instantly repair all mechs, a new type of turrets, a variety of enemy weapons. But the most important changes are the AI behavior corrections. The DLC and update will be available on March 14, 2024.
