It seems that the creators of Genshin Impact and Honkai Star Rail are not going to stop there. Another new product has been spotted, in addition to the upcoming Zenless Zone Zero
Fans of Genshin Impact noticed that “Hoyo” (HoYoverse //miHoYo) registered a new project with the government. In parallel with this, an account with the same name appeared on BiliBili (something like an analogue of YouTube).
This project is reportedly called <星布谷地> (direct translation into English: Starry Sky Valley or “Valley of the Starry Sky”).
This is supposed to be the very “life simulator from the creators of Genshin Impact and Honkai Star Rail”, about which rumors periodically circulated and various inside stories surfaced. According to them, it will be a game in the spirit of Animal Crossing.
It is not yet entirely clear when HoYoverse may present the proposed new project – the urban action-RPG Zenless Zone Zero is also in the works, which is expected to be released in 2024.
Those familiar with Genshin and HSR are already building various theories about how the conditional “analog of Animal Crossing” could be monetized. For example, through gacha mechanics they could sell a limited collection of furniture, or offer to pull NPC residents from the gacha who will give some bonus.
