9-Bit Armies A Bit Too Far is positioned as a continuation of the 8-bit series (previously there was RTS 8-Bit Armies): “ Combine your military forces across various battlefields and implement your strategy on land, sea and air. Place your airborne soldiers, destroy bridges and aim your superweapons in a new kind of pixelated pyromania. Whether you're new to real-time strategy war games or a seasoned commander, 9-Bit Armies will give you extra fun60~/em>”.
9-Bit Armies A Bit Too Far features a campaign mode with dozens of missions that can be mastered alone or in co-op; There is also online play, as well as support for modifications. While the developers are not ready to say how long the project will remain in early access.
The first reviews of 9-Bit Armies A Bit Too Far on Steam are positive, the negative is related to the balance and some creative decisions (someone got a hard time in the campaign), and some lacked strategic depth.
