Maxim Zlatokrylets noted that the segment of seven-seater cars in Russia is almost empty, so the new product will be popular.
Production and sales of the crossover «Moskvich 8» the company plans to start around October-November this year, at which time its cost will be announced, the top manager said. As we already wrote, «Moskvich 8» will be a clone of the Chinese car JAC Sehol X8 Plus. Sellers from Vladivostok are ready to supply it to order for 2.18 million rubles. Most likely, the Russian version under the «Moskvich» brand will be noticeably more expensive.
Ready copy of the model «Moskvich 8» was first shown in May of this year. This is a large crossover with dimensions of 4825 x 1870 x 1758 mm and a wheelbase of 2830 mm. The car will receive a 1.5-liter gasoline engine producing 174 hp. and 7-speed «robot» with dual clutch.
