“Aurora” for car multimedia devices and autopilot systems
AvtoVAZ, Scientific and Production Enterprise “Itelma” and “Rostelecom” will create a new digital ecosystem for cars based on the Russian operating system “Aurora”. The corresponding trilateral agreement was signed by representatives of the companies on the sidelines of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF-2024).
The agreement provides for the joint development, testing, implementation and development of the Aurora operating system for vehicle multimedia devices, autopilot mechanisms, connected vehicle systems, including the use of artificial intelligence technologies and big data processing to improve AvtoVAZ products, as well as the creation of digital products under the Lada brand, united into a single digital ecosystem.
The intelligent transport systems implemented by the Rostelecom Group will interact with Lada vehicles through components manufactured by Itelma.
