But only in certain games
MSI has released a major software update for its Claw portable gaming console, which makes the device significantly more productive.
As with regular Meteor Lake CPUs and dedicated Arc graphics cards, Intel is constantly updating drivers to improve GPU performance and stability in games. MSI Claw is based on Meteor Lake CPU, so this applies to it too.
MSI indicates a performance increase ranging from a meager 5% to a very impressive 150%. True, more often we are talking about 10-30%, but this is also a lot.
However, as is the case with drivers directly from Intel, you need to understand that performance increases mainly in those games that the company specifies. That is, in many others there may be no increase at all or it will be too small. However, such an update is better than no update. Moreover, MSI Claw is still inferior to consoles on Ryzen APUs on a number of points.
