Warner Bros. admitted that Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League was a real failure, “not living up to the expectations placed on it”.

The company did not mention the number of copies sold, but noted that due to the failure of Suicide Squad, its gaming division is facing “a difficult year”.

This is definitely due to the fact that the company simply does not have a potential hit that can somehow cover the losses from Kill the Justice League. If last year Warner Bros. was Hogwarts Legacy, then this year the company was counting on Suicide Squad.
