With 16 TOPS NPU
AMD introduced a line of embedded processors Ryzen Embedded 8000.
The line consists of four models, which are technically no different from conventional Ryzen 8000 mobile APUs, and even the model names are almost identical, except for the family number.
The line includes only models with six and eight cores. In the press release, AMD focuses on the accelerated NPU unit relative to the Ryzen 7000. Now it is the most productive among x86-compatible processors (16 TOPS).
The iGPU is also in place, which in this line is very, very powerful. Thanks to it, one such processor allows you to connect up to four displays with 4K resolution and use hardware decoding and encoding of AV1, H.264 and H.265 video codecs.
