It looks like Silent Hill 2 Remake will be released very soon. If this is indeed the case, then State of Play would be the perfect event to show off the first look at the gameplay. The event should also confirm the release date.
PlayStation is almost certainly holding a State of Play next month, according to rumors. Sony has been following this tradition for several years now, but the upcoming event promises to be much larger than in previous years. Late last year, Final Fantasy 7 Rebrith received a State of Play release date. Since PlayStation has marketing and exclusive rights to both games, a similar series of events could follow for Silent Hill 2 Remake.
Developers Bloober Team expect marketing for the remake to begin soon. With the PlayStation Show still months away, State of Play could be a great time to start marketing.
Silent Hill 2 is expected to be released at the end of 2024 on PC and PS5.
