They don't add up

Sonos introduced its first wireless headphones — Ace.

This is a high-end model and they ask for it 450 dollars in the USA and 500 euros in Europe. Of course, there is active noise cancellation and premium materials. True, the design does not involve folding, so they will take up quite a lot of space in the backpack. But for many, the presence of physical controls instead of the currently popular touch controls may be a plus.

Autonomy is not bad, but far from record-breaking — 30 hours. But there is ultra-fast charging: just three minutes is enough for the headphones to work for three hours.

The weight of the headphones is 312 g, which is not a record low, but still much less than that of Apple headphones. We can highlight support for aptX Adaptive, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.4 and the ability to connect to a Sonos soundbar. By the way, Wi-Fi is used here only for this — The new product connects to a smartphone either via Bluetooth or a cable.
