Rosaviation issued a certificate for the planned overhaul of engine parts and components
Ufa Engine Production Association of the United Engine Corporation (UEC-UMPO) received the right to carry out scheduled overhaul of parts and components of the PD-14 aircraft engine. This engine is intended for the MS-21 medium-haul airliner; serial deliveries of PD-14 aircraft engines should begin this year, as well as production of serial aircraft based on them.
Experts from the Federal Air Transport Agency visited UEC-UMPO units involved in the repair of parts and assemblies of the PD-14 engine and studied the documentation confirming compliance with the requirements of the Federal Aviation Regulations (FAP-285). As a result, the company received a certificate giving permission to carry out repair work on PD-14 components.
ODK-UMPO produces more than 30% of the parts and assembly units of the PD-14 aircraft engine: fan blades, high-pressure compressor rotor, separation housing, low-pressure turbine with rear support, etc. Certificate issued by the Federal Air Transport Agency , confirms that the enterprise has all the resources to carry out maintenance of PD-14 parts and assemblies, and also gives the right to conduct non-destructive testing of engine parts and assemblies, which will allow accurate monitoring of the quality of manufactured products.
