In the YouTube channel «AviaFilm» a three-minute video of a joint flight of two Russian passenger aircraft appeared — SSJ-100 and MS-21. This event took place back in July last year, photos were published at the end of August, and now a video has appeared.
UAC reported that the filming took four days, and four aircraft took part in it (in addition to the SSJ-100 and MS-21, the Yak-130 and Yak-40 flew out — the filming was carried out from them) . «AviaFilm» explains what makes the event unique: it is very difficult for large aircraft to maintain a tight formation in flight, especially considering the fact that these are airliners of different classes, with different weights and characteristics. But the pilots coped with the difficult task. According to the UAC, the process involved several crews in different compositions, dozens of engineers, technicians and dispatchers.
Recall that this week it became known that both the MC-21 and the imported SJ-100 are delayed: there will be no production aircraft this year.
