And next year there will be a Xiaomi crossover the size of Li Auto L7
Xiaomi has patented technology to improve satellite communications reception in a car. And this patent is issued for a reason: according to the well-known Chinese insider Digital Chat Station, all Xiaomi cars will receive support for satellite communications.
So far, Xiaomi has only one car, the Xiaomi SU7 electric sedan (but it has already become a hit in China), and a crossover is expected to appear by the end of the year. Moreover, this time we are not talking about a pure electric car, but about a hybrid. It will be a large luxury SUV about the size of the Li Auto L9. It is interesting that the next, that is, the third Xiaomi model, should also be a crossover, but of a more modest size, mid-size (by Chinese standards this means about 5 meters long).
All of these cars will have satellite communications, and Xiaomi smartphones, according to Digital Chat Station, will support 5.5G technology, and through a software update.
Previously, Digital Chat Station was the first to accurately report the specifications and release dates of Redmi K50 and Xiaomi 12.
