Samsung will be allowed to produce only cheap chips. AMD will use the Korean giant's 4-nanometer process technology to produce budget APUs

In the future it will be possible to release GPU

AMD now produces almost all of its CPUs and GPUs at TSMC facilities. But soon the company may start using Samsung services.

According to insider Revegnus, the Korean giant will indeed produce chips for AMD. We are talking about the 4 nm process technology. The first to be produced using this technical process will be some inexpensive hybrid processors, probably for the mobile segment. What kind of APU these will be is unclear, but we can assume that these are models of the next generation Ryzen.

In the medium and long term, AMD is considering the possibility of launching at Samsung and GPU capacities, but there are no details yet.

Insider Revegnus was the first to publish a photo of the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip5 before its release, reported on the AMD GPU in the Exynos 1480 SoC,  and also described the characteristics of the Exynos 2400, which were then confirmed in Geekbench software.< /p>
