A galactic war is raging in the world of Helldivers 2. Fans of the co-op shooter know that there is one puppeteer behind all this massive carnage. The developers previously said that a man known as “Joel” acts as a “game master” – he manipulates what is happening and can make life difficult for the fighters, for example, calling for enemy reinforcements to the planet.
Recently, this “main enemy of democracy” was remembered again: he unexpectedly burst into the lobby of the players in Helldivers 2. Joel declared that he needed to get back to work, and gave the surprised soldiers a working armored personnel carrier.
The Helldivers 2 community believes that this is preparation for something terrible, since they need help in the form of armored vehicles.
Many expect that the old- a new faction “Illuminati” (it should be familiar to players of the original Helldivers). In the current game, some have already become victims of the characteristic “blue rays”; recently, one of the developers officially recognized their existence – previously they tried to convince fans that everything just seems to them.
