High-quality renderings of the new Russian crossover XCITE X-Cross 7 were published by the portal «Kolesa.ru», which used previously published insider images from the site «Avtozavod in St. Petersburg& ;raquo;.
There will be few differences from the Chery Tiggo 7 Pro, which is well known to Russians, but there will be some.
Judging by spy photos, the Russian version, which will be called Xcite X-Cross 7, will differ from the Chinese one only in the finishing of the radiator grille, logos on it and on the trunk lid, where the brand lettering will also be located.
It is expected that the characteristics and equipment of XCITE Cross 7 will be the same as Chery Tiggo 7 Pro. The car will receive a 1.5-liter 147-horsepower gasoline turbo engine paired with a CVT in the basic version. Let us remind you that the Chery Tiggo 7 Pro Max is equipped with a 150-horsepower 1.6-liter turbo engine mated to a seven-speed robot. The XCITE crossover will probably only have front-wheel drive.
Recall that the plant announced the launch of its own automobile brand XCITE on January 30. The announcement of the first model is expected soon.
