Text localization is not enough for some players. For fans of Resident Evil 6, a new version of Russian voice acting will soon appear
In 2024, the Mechanics VoiceOver (R.G. MVO) team recalled Resident Evil 6. Once upon a time, Russian voice acting was introduced for the game, but now they have returned to it and decided to thoroughly update it – it will be a kind of remake.
There is already a working beta build of the Russian voice acting for Resident Evil 6, but for now access is premium – they offer to support the work of Mechanics VoiceOver:
“At this point we have rewritten many of the key roles from Leon's campaign. In particular:
– Leon in the updated Russian dubbing is voiced by Dmitry Polyanovsky (Bard from The Hobbit, Kano from Mortal Kombat);
– Ada Wong was given her voice by Svetlana Kuznetsova (Malificent from the film of the same name, Nebula from the MCU);
– Simmons' abomination was embodied by Evgeniy Ivanov (Sergeant Johnson from Halo 3, The Punisher from The Punisher);
— and Hannigan’s cold and calculating mind was conveyed in the voice equivalent by Galina Masaykina (Tauna from Crash Bandicoot 4, Malostria from Grim Dawn).< /p>
And perhaps these are not all the changes. At the moment we are still testing and will further improve the voice acting of the first campaign, and after that we will move on to others.
But, nevertheless, we already have a fully working beta build in our hands and will be available to everyone who supports fundraising for absolutely any of our projects in the amount of 450 rubles, starting from the moment the post was published. After support, you just need to write to us in the group’s DM and send us a receipt, after which you will receive a link to download the cracker. All updates will then be available via the same link.”
