Korean crossover is cheaper than the “Chinese” ones
The Kia Seltos crossover is no longer produced in Russia; it is imported from China. Accordingly, prices change, and not always downwards: for example, in April the crossover increased noticeably compared to the beginning of March — for 250 thousand rubles.
Now the most affordable new Kia Seltos 2023 costs 2.4 million rubles and is offered by official Kia dealers in Omsk. The car has a 1.5-liter naturally aspirated engine with 115 hp, a CVT and front-wheel drive. Equipment — Premium Edition with leather seats, digital instrument panel and media system with a large screen, surround view system, adaptive cruise control, keyless entry, climate control, panoramic roof.
In other cities the same car is a little more expensive: in Moscow — from 2.42 million rubles, in St. Petersburg — from 2.5 million rubles. There are cars with a 2-liter engine with a power of 149 hp, they are more expensive — from 2.98 million rubles.
If we compare the Kia Seltos 2023 with new crossovers from China, then the «Chinese» not cheaper: Omoda C5 Lifestyle 2024 costs 2.552 million rubles, Geely Coolray — 2.61 million rubles (excluding discounts).
