Russian company Neiry together with National Medical Research Center PN named after. V. M. Bekhtereva presented her new development — prototype of Neiry Buds headphones. As noted in the press service, these are the first in-ear headphones in Russia with stimulation of the vagus nerve inside the ear canal. 

The company explains:

Electrical stimulation of the vagus nerve — is a simple and comfortable way to independently improve your psycho-emotional state (combat insomnia, anxiety and stress). 

Now Neiry and NMRC PN named after. V. M. Bekhterev launches clinical trials. Stimulation is performed using an electrode that is located inside the ear canal. According to the developers, the effect produced is not painful (frequency — 120 Hz, pulse width — less than 1 millisecond, and current strength — from 4– 6 mA). < /p>
