The head of the Ministry of Industry and Trade Denis Manturov announced the imminent launch of production in Russia of new Aurus cars, they will be smaller and cheaper than the current Aurus Senat.
«We plan to launch a line of S-class cars in the near future. We expect that this will happen already in 2025, there will be the first sales of these cars. There is both an S-class and an E-class. They will be in a different price category, more affordable, and more mass production will be », — told by Denis Manturov.
Obviously, the new models are designed to replace in Russia the cars of the big German three (Audi A6 and A8, BMW series 5 and 7, as well as Mercedes-Benz E- and S-classes), as well as other similar cars (large sedans Genesis, Lexus, etc.). However, in the future, the «new Aurus» a crossover (or SUV – it is not yet clear) may appear.
It is expected that the new cars will be in demand among those who traveled in space on imported «premium» and yearns for him, as well as among civil servants and representatives of state-owned companies.
